Diploma Program Conditions
If you are interested in enrolling in the online program and earning your high school diploma, you must meet certain conditions that are detailed below. Once you have met these parameters, you will be eligible to order your graduation package which will include your authentic high school diploma.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 16 years of age in order to enroll in the program, take the test and be eligible to be awarded the high school diploma. Individuals that are 16-17 years of age are required to have a legal guardian confirm they are supporting the program and of the high school diploma. Those who are 18 and above are adults and therefore at liberty to make all decisions that pertain to the course and diploma package themselves.
Pass The Test
The second step in order to meet our online high school conditions is to successfully pass the free testing program with a grade in each subject of 70% or better and a satisfactory life experience essay. The program is comprised of four main subjects mirrored after the official GED. Once these subjects are completed with a passing score, the student will then need to complete the final test section.
Life Experience Essay
The third step of our online program is for the student to finish a short list of questions that pertain to their past academic experience. The last stage of this course will require a student to write an original essay that details their life, work and/or school experience. In this narrative, they may also list the credits that they have completed and where they were completed if they have taken high school courses in the past. Once the character limit of the essay is reached, the student will have an opportunity to review before sending to our counselors. Our counselors will then receive the entire completed test and will review in detail before accepting the student as a graduate.
Enrollment Application
The final stage to completing the online testing platform is for a student to enter their personal information in. This includes their address, full name, date of birth and how they would like their name to appear on the high school diploma our school will award after the review and acceptance of our counselors. This section asks additional questions to help our school verify that the student who has completed the program is the student that will be receiving the graduation package.
Graduation Package Order Form
When the above stages are complete and you receive either an email from our staff or your account has notified you in your personal section online, you will be eligible to order your graduation package which includes the course transcripts, lifetime verification, a tassle and your authentic high school diploma. In this stage, you will be able to select the shipping option that works best for your unique situation. This shipping cost will be added to the graduation package of $249.
Counselor Verification Process
When our counselors receive the completed test program, life experience essay, enrollment application and graduation package order details, they will review each in detail and in particular the items listed below:
- Your online high school program test scores
- The life and work experience essay
- Credits you may already have earned prior to completing this program
- Enrollment application details
- Graduation package order details
After the review process is complete, they will engage our administrators to process your graduation package order. If there is any issue during the processing of a student's graduation package order, our administrator's will immediately contact the graduate by email or phone to resolve the issue and commence in shipping the package in a timely fashion.
What sets our Diploma Apart
When you enroll in our GED alternative test program, you are able to complete the conditions and receive your graduation package in days versus weeks, months or years. A traditional high school requires a student to earn 21 credits is various classes and subjects over a 3-4 year duration. Our online school's unique approach dramatically speeds up this process. Our program allows the student to combine the GED equivalency testing course with their work and/or life experience.
Please Note: TThe online high school course does not have to be completed in one session. If you are unable to complete the testing curriculum, you can log out and log back in at any time and you will continue where last left off. A majority of students are able to complete the entire test platform in one sitting and receive their graduation package in 2-5 days from their completion date. |
