High School Foreign Language Resource Center Learning a foreign language is interesting and fun for most people. Most high school and college diplomas require a student pass foreign language classes. Foreign language skills also enable people the access to cultural experiences that they might otherwise never be exposed to, and to learn the perspective of peoples from other countries. Also, groups like the Peace Corps offer language training, and placement in foreign countries. Foreign language students can often earn money teaching their native language abroad. Combining education and travel can build one’s career opportunities, and be an interesting life experience.
